Report to BARMC by conducting independent internal audit, risk and compliance reviews of financial, operational and IT streams for the Group and its subsidiaries ensuring governance with established policies and regulations and attainment of best practices
Proactively identify potential business issues and risk and propose practical and effective internal control systems and solutions to operational management
Provide business value and recommendations by auditing in-depth business activities for cost management and challenging the existing procedures/processes/control for efficiency improvement
Monitor control implementation status, engaging and influencing process owners to prioritize implementation efforts effectively
Evaluate adequacy of policies and procedures and propose enhancements to strengthen risk management practices
Conduct investigations on the Whistleblowing cases and report the findings to the BARMC and senior management
Maintain a strong and cohesive working relationship with IA team of the respective subsidiaries of the Group
Perform ESG/sustainability-related risk management audit to compliance with the relevant jurisdictions
Assist in other ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
A university graduate in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline with 15 years of experience in auditing or accounting
Proven experience working as an internal audit professional in sizable multinational conglomerates is highly desirable
Solid knowledge of the latest trends and technology, and best practices in IT audit
Professional qualifications such as CPA, CIA or CISA are advantages
Strong project management experience as well as exceptional report writing and presentation skills
Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
